Employment History Watchful - Full Stack Software Engineer 2025 Returning to Watchful full-time as a permanent software engineer, working on their security camera monitoring platform. University of Auckland - CIE2024 Part-time role with the Creative Technologist team at the Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, where I stayed for two years. Supervising the makerspace, running equipment workshops,
designing and facilitating curricular workshops, and repairing
equipment. Watchful - Software Engineering Intern 2024 Summer internship as a software engineer at Watchful, a security camera monitoring platform. Developed a device-integration scripting tool, enabling rapid iteration on new security camera integrations and opening the door for third-party developers to create their own. Increased the throughput of a key platform event bottleneck by 15x, just as the old design was hitting its limits. This gave Watchful headroom until a planned rework of the event pipeline.
